New Jerusalem Outreach Center Ministries Founder and Pastor Ellen Berry is a native of Arizona, born and raised in the Town of Buckeye. Pastor Berry is a widow; a mother of four sons: Javan, Jarvis, Javar, and Jamaine; a grandmother to 20 grandchildren; and is a great grandmother to 1 great granddaughter. Pastor Berry and her husband Clifford Berry were the first black couple to purchase and own their home in the Town of Buckeye. 

Saved at nine years old, Pastor Berry was called to the ministry in 1985 where she has been ministering for the past 35 years. She started The Lord’s Bible Study in Buckeye in 1985, a prayer group in 1988, and was the first black woman to become President of the Buckeye Valley Christian Women. The first Black woman to become President of the Buckeye Ministerial Board and the first black woman to become President of the Buckeye Valley Women’s Club, Pastor Berry worked with the Buckeye Valley Police Department in recruiting new hires. Active in writing plays and poems, in 2000 she founded and started the Women of the Word. In 2005, Pastor Berry founded and started All About Me, in 2010 a scholarship program called ‘Chosen’ which helps children ages 5 – 18 years old, and in 2011 the Ruby Awards. 

Pastor Ellen Berry walks in the five-fold Apostolic anointing and the nine gifts of the Spirit. She brings forth prophetic teaching and anointing that God has graciously allowed her to minister. As she preaches the word of God with power and authority that destroys all the yokes of the enemy, the Holy Spirit engulfs the atmosphere with healing, deliverance, and restoration. Her purpose is that souls be saved and lives changed. 

Pastor Berry has conducted evangelism efforts in Texas, New Mexico, California, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Arizona. She has evangelized in the Arizona towns of Tucson, Goodyear, Tolleson, Avondale, Gila Bend, Casa Grande, Maricopa, Phoenix, and Buckeye. She has also enhanced her evangelism with outreach through her food and clothing ministry.  

Pastor Berry is known as a Prophetess and strong woman of faith. She brings a message of hope, righteousness, and revival to the church. Her passion is to provide healing to the hurting people of God, and her vision is to see men, women, and families reach their full potential in the body of Christ! Amen.
